Rico Jose is an interior / architectural photographer based in Manila. Interior photography became a natural extension of his work shooting food for various hotels in Metro Manila as clients would often want to have images of their rooms and facilities updated. He uses a combination of modern artchitectural photography techniques such as image stitching, exposure blending or HDR to bring out detail and balance contrasty lighting situations, but if the time permits he would opt to relight the scene using multiple battery powere strobes and modifiers placed strategically around the room, creating a more dramatic and pleasing composition.
